About Coach Carey

Brian Carey ran LuHi Summer Programs and LuHi Basketball Schools, including the Shooter's School, for 20 years. He has over forty years of high school and college coaching experience, and along the way his teams have won 3 New York Independent School State Championships and a New York Federation State Title. His teams have averaged 70+ points per game with a 70% winning percentage, including a four year league record of 49-3 at Kings Park High School from 2002 to 2005. Coach Carey believes EVERY player can develop the skills and confidence to be an effective scorer. The goal is not to take every shot but to make every shot you take!
